PhD positions for M.Sc. in Organic/Inorganic/General Chemistry students with NET/GATE qualifications are available in my group. Prior experimental experience in Industry and research institute is a plus but not essential.

• We are looking for bright, highly motivated, dedicated PhD students to work in Organic chemistry with a keen interest to address challenging problems in the field of chemistry, medicine, biological chemistry and material chemistry. We primarily use various organic synthetic techniques (organocatalysis, carbohydrate synthesis, heterocycle synthesis, catalysis, drug synthesis and natural product synthesis) to study several fundamentally and biologically important application towards various communicable and non-communicable disease. In addition the synthesized and developed organic compounds may subject to various material science application such as sensor, electro-chromic materials, energy and battery applications.

• Positions are open for PhD students interested in working in organic synthesis  applied towards medicinal and material fields  and required minimum fitness to execute the research work.

• Interested students willing to work in the area of NHC-Organocatalysis, Carbohydrate Synthesis, Heterocycle Synthesis, Drug Synthesis, Natural Product Development, Organic Materials & Bio-materials, Drug discovery program towards i) Cancer (PDT) ii) Alzheimer iii) Depression iv) Parkinson v) Leukemia Cancer (vi) Communicable diseases
